The 2017 Fumé Blanc I-Block is even better, yet is made in a more concentrated, rich, structured, and serious style. Caramelized lemons, grapefruit, crushed stone, and floral notes all emerge from the glass, and it's medium to full-bodied and has bright acidity, a great mid-palate, and beautiful clarity and precision. It's terrific today yet is going to age for over a decade.
