2019 Corra Cabernet Sauvignon Tietjen

The 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Tjetjen Vineyard is one of the main vineyard sources used for the Corra Cabernet, but bottled separately here. Dark fruit, spice, menthol and chocolate are amplified in this potent, tannic young Rutherford Cabernet. The Tjetjen is very much a wine of volume. Its role in a blend seems pretty obvious, but there may not be enough complexity to carry a vineyard designate bottling of the very highest level.
