2016 Bedrock Heirloom Compagni Portis Vineyard

The 2016 Compagni Portis Heritage White is intriguing in that is a bit more linear and less exotic that it often is. Green apple, pear, mint and stony notes give the 2016 freshness and vivacity. This field blend of Gewürztraminer, Trousseau Gris, Riesling and Roter Veltliner is often compelling, as it is once again in 2016. Sadly, approximately 20% of the vines were lost in the October 2017 fires.
