The 2018 Covert Cabernet Sauvignon Black Label is a powerful, packed wine that captures all of the intense minerality and savoriness of Coombsville. Inky dark fruit, gravel, spice, menthol and bittersweet chocolate all build in the glass. This is an especially brooding, somber wine. It will be interesting to see what time in bottle brings.
