Punteggio 88/100 · Da bere 2013-2017, Antonio Galloni, Vinous, Jun 2013

Orange peel, lemon oil, mint and jasmine are some of the aromas that emerge from the 2011 Sauvignon Blanc Tradition. A bright, nicely articulated white, the 2011 is best enjoyed over the next few years, while the fruit retains its mid-palate generosity and buoyancy.

Punteggio 88/100 · Da bere 2013-2015, Antonio Galloni, Wine Advocate, Apr 2013

Orange peel, lemon oil, mint and jasmine are some of the aromas that emerge from the 2011 Sauvignon Blanc Tradition. A bright, nicely articulated white, the 2011 is best enjoyed over the next few years, while the fruit retains its mid-palate generosity and buoyancy. Anticipated maturity: 2013-2015. I tasted a wide range of wines from Capture this year. In my view, the whites are stronger than the reds. Tel. (707) 395-0457

Punteggio 90/100 · Stephen Tanzer, Vinous, May 2012

(from Lake County and Sonoma County fruit; done entirely in stainless steel): Pale silver-yellow color. Aromas of gooseberry, lemon peel, white peach, licorice and spearmint accented by piquant pink grapefruit. Juicy, bracing and penetrating but not hard, with a minty coolness to its crisp citrus flavors. Finishes with very good length and surprising breadth. Gained in texture as it opened in the glass.
