The 2022 Cabernet Sauvignon Blueline Estate accounts for the bulk of the production off this site and is a blend of 85% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Merlot, 3% Malbec and 2% Petit Verdot, aged in 85% new French oak, mostly Sylvain, Taransaud and Darnajou. Cherries and bright red berries lead the way, but there's a deeper hint of mocha as well. It's medium- to full-bodied, supple, creamy and smooth, with ample length and fine-grained dusty tannins on the vibrant, mouthwatering finish.

Ripe red and black fruits, spicy herbs, loamy earth, and some background oak all define the aromatics, and it's medium-bodied on the palate, with a concentrated, layered mouthfeel, plenty of mid-palate depth, and a great finish.
The 2022 Cabernet Sauvignon Blueline Estate embodies the vintage in northern Napa Valley. The flavor profile is on the riper side, while the structure is undeniably light. Even with those challenges, the 2022 is well balanced.
