The 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon Blueline Estate is in a gorgeous spot for drinking today. It offers up copious dark fruit, espresso, licorice, new leather and chocolate notes. Ripeness is a bit pushed, as is the oak imprint, and yet the 2015 has arrived at its tenth birthday in style. This is an especially potent, muscular wine.

The 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon is another pretty wine from the Blueline Estate. Dark cherry, plum mocha spice and licorice are nicely amped up in this pliant, supple Cabernet. In this vintage, the wines are not as differentiated as they can be. Perhaps for that reason, the Blueline, while quite good, is not especially exciting.
The 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon Blueline Estate is more elegant, with a fresh, focused style to go with lots of blue fruits, graphite, cedar, and a hint of tobacco leaf. With a seamless, pure, nicely balanced, full-bodied style, it’s already drinking nicely yet is going to evolve gracefully as well.
Containing splashes of Petit Verdot and Malbec, the 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon Blueline Estate displays a medium to deep garnet-purple color and nose of red and black currants, black plums and tapenade with touches of cigar box and dried Mediterranean herbs. Medium to full-bodied, the palate is laden with exotic spices and earthy layers, framed by firm, grainy tannins and finishing with great length.
