2013 B Cellars Cabernet Sauvignon Oakville

The 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon Oakville is a small cuvée of 200 cases of unfined and unfiltered Cabernet. It is a deep ruby/purple, with juicy blackcurrant fruit, somewhat less nuanced and complex compared to the Kenefick Ranch or the Blend 26. The wine shows classic spice box and blackcurrant fruit, medium to full body and a good finish. This lacks that extra "wow" component that most of these B Cellar wines possess. Drink it over the next 15 years.
