2018 Bedrock Grenache Gambrels of the Sky

The 2018 Gambrels of the Sky is a Grenache-based wine from Sceales Vineyard in Alexander Valley and Gibson Ranch in Mendocino, with some Evangelho Mataro added to the mix. Lifted and beautifully aromatic, with tons of Grenache character, the 2018 is very pretty. A healthy dollop (33%) of whole clusters adds complexity, but without overpowering the wine. Aging in large format oak helps retain freshness.
