2017 Luigi Ferrando Carema Etichetta Nera Black Label

The 2017 Carema Etichetta Nera is laced with wild cherry, spice, leather, cedar and dried herbs. A wine of amplitude and power, the 2017 has a lot to offer. I would cellar it for a few years to allow some of the formidable tannins to soften. Over the last few years, the oak impact has come down in this bottling, which is certainly a positive development.
