2016 Repris Left Bank Blend

The 2016 Left Bank from Repris is 60% Cabernet Sauvignon and 40% Cabernet Franc. Sweet and perfumed, with soaring Cabernet Franc aromatics, the 2016 is absolutely gorgeous. On the palate, the 2016 offers notable richness and plenty of volume. Super-ripe plum, black cherry, olive tapenade, dried herbs and mocha build into the finish in a voluptuous Moon Mountain red that is already so inviting. I tasted this wine as part of a panel presentation of the forthcoming Vinous Map of Moon Mountain.
