The 2022 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer To Kalon The F.RED is a new release that comes from two blocks in the To Kalon Vineyard in Oakville, the D2 block, which made up the backbone of Schrader's Old Sparky cuvée, and block E2, which is further back in the vineyard. It's one of the finest in the vintage and sports a deep ruby/purple hue as well as brilliant aromatics of darker ripe fruits, chocolate, toasted spices, and background oak. It brings remarkable depth and density, sweet tannins, and a great finish. The 2022s certainly don't get much better.
