Note di degustazione
The 2014 INEO is a terrific Bordeaux blend from this estate that has tons of character. Currants, black raspberries, tobacco leaf, lead pencil, and forest floor notes all emerge from this medium to full-bodied, rounded, charming, but incredibly accessible 2014 that will drink nicely for a decade. Drink this while you give the Estate Cabernet Sauvignon some bottle age.

Medium garnet-purple colored, the 2014 INEO Proprietary Red has a very earthy, garrigue and tilled soil-inspired nose, with a core of red and black plums, beef drippings and tapenade. Medium to full-bodied, the palate reveals lovely restraint, with the earthy/savory flavors framed by chewy tannins and a refreshing finish.
The 2014 Ineo is Staglin's co-fermented blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc. Powerful, dense and brooding in the glass, the 2014 possesses remarkable intensity allied to pure power. Dark stone fruit, mocha, spice, licorice and menthol infuse this tightly wound, explosive wine. Readers will have to be patient with the 2014. There is certainly plenty to look forward to.
The 2014 Ineo, Staglin's Cabernet Sauvignon/Cabernet Franc co-fermented wine, has also aged impeccably. Strong floral and savory accents meld into a core of black cherry/plum fruit, espresso, menthol and licorice, all framed by a discreet touch of oak. The 2014 is a bit riper and more extracted in style than today's wines, but the balance is notable.
