2019 Staglin Family Ineo Red

The 2019 Ineo, Staglin's Cabernet Sauvignon/Cabernet Franc blend, is absolutely gorgeous. Cabernet Franc lends brightness and lift to match the natural richness of this Rutherford site. Bright red-toned fruit, mocha, crushed flowers, spice and rose petal build nicely in the glass. The Ineo has a bit less mid-palate intensity than the Cabernet Sauvignon, but that's not an issue, as all these wines have plenty of heft. The 2019 spent 22 months in barrel, 90% new, with the wood very well integrated.
