Note di degustazione
In 2012, Ineo is one of the darker wines in the Staglin range. Black cherry, plum, spice, menthol and new leather blossom in an expansive, voluptuous wine. This is a very typical 2012, with the generous, resonant personality on full display. The 2012 will drink well early, but it also has more than enough depth to age effortlessly for another 10-15 years.

The 2012 Proprietary Red Blend INEO exhibits the vintage’s lushness and proclivity for forward, ripe fruit without being over-the-top or too heavy. Copious aromas of plums, blackcurrants and sweet cherries intermixed with dusty, loamy soil and forest floor notes are found in this dry, medium to full-bodied beauty. Drink it over the next 10-12 years.
The 2012 Ineo is a potent, brooding red. There's 16% Petit Verdot in this vintage, which contributes to its burly feel. Dark and introspective, the 2012 packs a serious punch of both fruit and tannin. Tasting it today mostly points out how much more refined Ineo is today. The 2012 was fermented in a new oak vat which probably marked this wine more than initially expected.
