Pale to medium ruby colored, the 2014 Pinot Noir Yu-ki Estate has a nose of kirsch, cranberries and violets with hints of underbrush and potpourri. Medium-bodied, it has elegantly perfumed red berry flavors and soft tannins, finishing with a refreshing herbal lift.

Dried cherry, tea leaves, crushed flowers and mint are some of the signatures in Akiko Freeman's 2014 Pinot Noir Yu-ki Estate. Stylistically and texturally, the Yuki is an ethereal wine, with lovely aromatic presence, but a bit less depth in the mid-palate than some of the other Pinots in the range.
