Punteggio 96/100 · Da bere 2022-2032, Josh Raynolds, Dec 2020

Dark, brilliant ruby. Heady, spice-accented aromas of ripe red berries and potpourri gain vivacity from a smoky mineral element. Alluringly sweet raspberry, cherry and lavender pastille flavors are enhanced by suggestions of allspice, star anise and white pepper that build on the back half. Conveys a suave blend of power and finesse and finishes with outstanding clarity and floral-driven persistence.

Punteggio 94/100 · Da bere 2020-2030, Jeb Dunnuck, Sep 2020

The 2017 Sensibility comes all from the Paderewski Vineyard and was fermented in a mix of puncheons and concrete tanks. Made in a fresher, more elegant style, yet still with plenty of Grenache oomph, its ruby/translucent color is followed by lots of kirsch and strawberry-like fruits as well as notes of violets, spring flowers, licorice, and ground pepper. Medium to full-bodied, juicy, and elegant, it has moderate tannins and terrific balance. It should evolve nicely for a good 8-10 years.

Punteggio 93/100 · Da bere 2020-2028, Erin Brooks, Wine Advocate, Feb 2020

The 2017 Sensibility is made of 100% Grenache and was aged 18 months in concrete and neutral puncheons. Pale to medium ruby-purple in the glass, it has youthful aromas of cinnamon toast, fresh raspberries, crushed red cherries, blood orange, strawberry jam and touches of dried earth, chaparral and potpourri. Light to medium-bodied, it’s fresh and light on its feet with bright, floral-tinged fruits, a lightly grainy frame and lip-smacking freshness calling you back for another sip on the long finish. 498 cases produced.
