2015 Domaine Boursot Père et Fils Gevrey-Chambertin

The 2015 Gevrey-Chambertin Village comes from two lieux-dits. It offers baked red cherries and crushed strawberry on the nose, nicely defined with well integrated oak. The palate is well balanced with sweet redcurrant and Morello cherries, a little saltiness towards the second half with a fleshy, almost Chambolle-like finish that is a real treat. This is a commendable Gevrey-Chambertin Village that should give three to five years of drinking pleasure.
