Based on 75% Cabernet Franc and 25% Cabernet Sauvignon, aged 18-20 months in 70% new French oak, the 2022 Cabernet Franc Oakville Ranch Vineyard reveals beautiful decadent red and black fruits, violets, and chocolate notes intermixed with spicy oak and candied orange nuances. Full-bodied on the palate, it shows the vintage's opulent nature yet stays balanced, with moderate acidity and a great finish. While borderline cloying, it remains impressive and will drink nicely over the coming 7-10 years.

The 2022 Cabernet Franc Oakville Ranch Vineyard is packed with inky red fruit, expresso, lavender, rose petal, licorice and espresso. In this vintage, the Franc is relatively supple, with less of the acidity and tannin profile of other years. That, in turn, makes the wine relatively approachable.
