2019 Sandlands Red Table Wine

The 2019 Red Table Wine (Contra Costa County) is superb. Intensely floral and savory aromas make a strong opening statement. Powerful and deep on the palate, with plenty of tannin, the Contra Costa Red is wonderfully expressive. Rose petal, lavender, mint, sage, blood orange and red/purplish berry fruit give this effusive blend so much character. I loved it. The blend is 65% Carignan and 35% Mataro.
