2022 Rivers-Marie Pinot Noir Platt Vineyard

The 2022 Pinot Noir Platt Vineyard comes from a vineyard planted in 2003 and shows a delicate smokiness, but it’s more high-toned, with incense, fresh mint, red cherries, and orange peel. It also has a great texture, an although it has a more linear feel, there’s richness in its core, with ripe tannins and a long, elegant finish. It’s going to show its best if given another couple years. Drink 2026-2040.
