Note di degustazione
The 2012 Chardonnay Charles Ranch is all about texture. Then again, the vineyard was planted in 1981, and there is no denying the pedigree these old vines confer. Brioche, dried flowers, almonds, hazelnuts pears and smoke meld together in a big, voluptuous Chardonnay loaded with personality and a level of complexity that will be a sheer joy to uncover over the following years.

The three 2012 Chardonnays demonstrate the vintage’s opulence and full-bodied exuberance and richness. From older vines planted in 1982, the 2012 Chardonnay Charles Ranch spent time in 58% new French oak. Gorgeous notes of honeysuckle, white peach, caramelized pear and orange blossoms are followed by a full-bodied, complex, intense Chardonnay that should drink well for 5-7 years.
Informazioni sul produttore

Martinelli is a Sonoma benchmark for vineyard-designate bottlings—wines built to highlight how strongly a single site can shape Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Syrah, and Zinfandel. Across the range, the focus stays consistent: small-production bottlings that feel distinctly tied to where they’re grown.
