2010 Behrens Family Erna Schein Sainte Fumee Red

(60% syrah and 10% each tempranillo, mourvedre, cabernet sauvignon and petite sirah): Good full bright ruby. Complex, scented nose offers violet face powder, black olive tapenade, licorice pastille and black pepper. Supple, fat and generous but with harmonious ripe acidity and suave tannins giving shape to this lush, sweet blend. The tannins are sweet and the long finish wonderfully perfumed.
