Note di degustazione
(15.6% alcohol on the label): Saturated dark red. Raspberry liqueur, chocolate and mint on the nose, along with a suggestion of dried fruits. Very sweet and plush on entry, then chewy, thick and shockingly primary in the middle palate, with dark fruit, chocolate cake and exotic spice flavors dominating; tastes more like a barrel sample than a ten-year-old wine! This huge, almost roasted, slightly unrefined Cabernet Franc delivers major tannic clout, and still needs to absorb some of its baby fat.

(15.8% alcohol, with a pH of 3.62) Bright medium ruby. Aromas of crushed blackberry, blueberry and bitter chocolate show a slightly high-toned, porty quality. Fat, lush, sweet and deep, with chocolate and licorice flavors. Conveys a powerful impression of extract but comes across as almost heavy for a wine from this producer. A very full wine with substantial ripe tannins and very good length.
