2013 Crocker & Starr Cabernet Franc

Starr has always done a superlative job with Cabernet Franc, and her 2013 Cabernet Franc from the estate vines (which are now 21 years of age) displays a deep ruby/purple color and a beautiful nose of black raspberries, blueberries, cranberries and white flowers. It is medium-bodied, beautifully intense, no wimp at 14.8% alcohol, but it is light on its feet, and extremely fragrant and endearing. Drink it over the next 10-15 years.
