An interesting blend of 50% Petite Sirah, 40% Merlot, and 10% Zinfandel, the deep purple/ruby-hued 2018 Red Blend Chaos Theory offers a darker, more meaty, earthy style as well as lots of plum and blackberry fruit, notes of spice, dried flowers, and brambly herbs, medium to full-bodied richness, and a solid, lengthy finish. It’s another pleasure-bent wine from this estate with lots to love. It should evolve nicely for 4-6 years.
