The 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon Houyi Vineyard comes from the Nine Suns estate on Pritchard Hill and spent 16 months in new French oak. It has a wonderful purity in its crème de cassis, graphite, white flowers, lead pencil, and liquid rock-like minerality. Deep, full-bodied, incredibly pure, and balanced, it's one of the most complete, elegant, layered wines in the lineup.

The 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon Houyi Vineyard is another stellar wine in this range. All the pedigree of this hillside site comes through beautifully in a dense, plush Cabernet Sauvignon loaded with character. Dark red cherry, smoke, licorice, dried flowers and rose petal all race out of the glass in a rich, stunning Cabernet endowed with tremendous class and vivid intensity. What a knockout!
