Note di degustazione
A California version of Corton-Charlemagne, the 2013 Chardonnay Lolita Ranch, which comes from old Wente clone, shows lemon meringue pie, a hint of crushed rock, and ripe apple and peach blossom notes. The wine has terrific fruit and should continue to drink well for another 5-8 years.

The 2013 Chardonnay Lolita Ranch has lovely depth and phenolic intensity, especially through the middle, where the wine is quite creamy and expansive as it continues to flesh out with air. Yellow orchard fruit, wild flowers, chamomile and sweet spices are laced into the finish. This is an unusually subdued, calm Chardonnay for Martinelli.
Informazioni sul produttore

Martinelli is a Sonoma benchmark for vineyard-designate bottlings—wines built to highlight how strongly a single site can shape Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Syrah, and Zinfandel. Across the range, the focus stays consistent: small-production bottlings that feel distinctly tied to where they’re grown.
