Note di degustazione
The 2018 Zinfandel Jackass Vineyard has loads of personality and perfume. It offers singular notions of juniper and floral potpourri with accents of cinnamon, citrus peel, apricots and berry preserves. The medium to full-bodied palate is super spicy and fresh, silkily framed and finishing long and layered with just a touch of warmth.

The 2018 Zinfandel Jackass Vineyard is powerful, deep and savory. Dried herbs, licorice, pine, leather, spice and earthiness give the Jackass Hill a good deal of brooding intensity. These vines planted 130 years ago, yield wines of notable density and power. I would give the 2018 at least a few years in bottle to allow the tannins to soften a touch.
Informazioni sul produttore

Martinelli is a Sonoma benchmark for vineyard-designate bottlings—wines built to highlight how strongly a single site can shape Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Syrah, and Zinfandel. Across the range, the focus stays consistent: small-production bottlings that feel distinctly tied to where they’re grown.
