Note di degustazione
The 2013 Zinfandel Jackass Vineyard (16.4% alcohol) has an opaque purple color, a big, sweet kiss of smoked duck, charcuterie spices, cola, blackberry and cherry. It is deep, spicy and complex, with great fruit and is best drunk over the next 10-15 years.

Martinelli's 2013 Zinfandel Jackass Vineyard is another dark, meaty wine, but it also has a bit more integration than the Vellutini Ranch. Smoke, game, incense, graphite and leather flesh out in an intense, powerful wine with more than enough density to drink well for many years.
Informazioni sul produttore

Martinelli is a Sonoma benchmark for vineyard-designate bottlings—wines built to highlight how strongly a single site can shape Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Syrah, and Zinfandel. Across the range, the focus stays consistent: small-production bottlings that feel distinctly tied to where they’re grown.
