2009 Merry Edwards Pinot Noir Klopp Ranch

Bright, full ruby-red. Pungent spicy lift to the aromas of black cherry, bitter chocolate, licorice and black pepper, complemented by a deeper underbrush quality. Rich, round and harmonious; one of the fullest and creamiest of this set of pinots but not at all overly sweet. With its fine dusting of tannins and emerging gamey complexity, this plump pinot is delicious already.
