2009 Red Car Syrah The Fight

Brilliant purple. Sexy aromas of black and blue fruit preserves, star anise, violet and cracked pepper, with a touch of olive in the background. Fleshy and broad on entry, then tighter in the mid-palate, offering sweet blackcurrant and boysenberry flavors sharpened by tangy acidity. Becomes spicier and more floral with air and finishes with excellent clarity and length. (JR)
