Note di degustazione
The 100% Cabernet Sauvignon, the 2013 Loc.Cit. is a tiny cuvée of just three barrels. Opaque purple-colored, it seems more reserved and backward than the other wines, but offers up significant yet velvety tannins and a hint of wild mountain flowers intermixed with briary blackberry and blueberry fruit. It is full-bodied, but seems dense and backward. Give it 3-4 years of cellaring and drink it over the following two-plus decades.

There are just two barrels of the 2013 Loc-Cit, which happens to be the single greatest wine I have ever tasted at Ovid. Rich, powerful and utterly decadent, the 2013 possesses superb density and pure power married to a real sense of sophistication. Dark red cherry, plum, mint, rose petal and sweet herbs meld into the unctuous, resonant finish. A dramatic, full-throttle wine, the 2013 Loc-Cit is dazzling. The 2013 is mostly Clone 4 Cabernet, which is what gives the wine its dark, powerful personality. Readers who can find the 2013 should not hesitate, as it is magnificent.
The 2013 Loc-Cit is wonderfully complex and dynamic. Intensely aromatic and nuanced, the 2013 is so full of character. Like all these wines, the 2013 has aged beautifully. Orange peel, rose petals, Kirsch and sweet spice soar out of the glass, lending tons of exoticism. Like the other Cabernet wines in this range, it remains very young.
