Deep garnet-purple colored, the 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon Teucer Vineyard slowly unfurls to reveal notes of cedar chest, blackcurrant cordial, prunes and spice cake with touches of tilled soil, tobacco leaf and wild sage. The taut, full bodied palate has firm, chewy tannins and a lively backbone, finishing with an herbal lift.

The 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon Teucer is another huge, bombastic wine off this Coombsville site. Pliant and explosive on the palate, with tremendous depth, the 2017 is incredibly potent. This is a monolithic Cabernet, as wines from this site have shown themselves to be thus far.
