Note di degustazione
The 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon Teucer Vineyard comes from a site in the Coombsville appellation, which is one of the cooler growing regions due to its proximity to the bay. Bordeaux-like notes of blue fruits, violets, green tobacco, and cedar give way to a full-bodied, powerful wine that has building structure. Despite the cooler region, this is a monster of a wine that reveals loads of glass-staining fruit, big yet ripe tannins, and a great finish. It should benefit from 2-3 years of bottle age and then drink well for 10-15.

Deep garnet-purple colored, the 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon Teucer Vineyard charges out of the gate with bold scents of crème de cassis, Black Forest cake and stewed plums plus suggestions of spice box, Chinese five spice and mocha plus a touch of dried Provence herbs. The palate is rich, full-bodied and impactful, featuring loads of exotic spice and preserves black fruit layers and great tension, finishing long with a peppery kick.
