Deep garnet-purple in color, the 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer To Kalon Vineyard comes flowing out of the glass like a wall of molten rock, offering compelling notions of warm cassis, mocha, dried mulberries and baked plums plus hints of underbrush, mossy bark and dried herbs. Medium to full-bodied, the palate features very impressive, super-ripe, fine-grained tannins and just enough freshness to support the earth-accented black fruits, finishing on a lingering mineral note. 100 cases produced.
