Note di degustazione
A more medium-bodied, elegant, Bordeaux styled effort, the 2011 Cabernet Sauvignon QUINTVS offers a ruby hue as well as beautifully complex notes of spring flowers, cedarwood, tobacco, and both red and black fruits. It builds nicely on the palate, has wonderful complexity, resolved tannins, and a great finish. This elegant, complex, balanced beauty is ideal for drinking over the coming decade or so.

Medium bodied, forward, fresh, easy drinking Cabernet Sauvignon with a short, sweet black cherry finish. 90 Points
The 2011 Cabernet Sauvignon Quintvs comes from all five blocks of their vineyard. It is another 100% Cabernet Sauvignon from Howell Mountain displaying a fuller personality with deep black currant fruit, subtle smoke, wet rocks, floral, black raspberry, black currant and mulberry fruit. This elegant yet authoritatively made wine should be consumed over the next decade as well. This property, formerly known as White Cottage Ranch, is a biodynamically farmed vineyard that utilizes the services of consulting winemaker Philippe Melka. They have approximately 28 acres under vine, and the 2011 harvest took place between the end of October and November 3. Tel. (707) 965-0555
