The 2022 Lithic is based on 60% Mourvèdre, 23% Syrah, and 17% Grenache that was mostly destemmed and brought up in a mix of neutral oak. Both red and black fruits, peppery herbs, damp clay, and lavender notes all define the aromatics, and it's medium-bodied, with a supple mouthfeel and a good finish. Drink this charming, complex, nicely balanced 2022 over the coming 7-8 years.

The 2022 Lithic is a bold, eccentric wine. In this vintage, the Lithic feels a bit riper than usual, with a more candied quality to the fruit. Dark-toned fruit, spice, incense and dried herbs all meld together. This is a solid wine to drink over the next handful of years.
