2020 Cornell Vineyards Cabernet Sauvignon Estate

The 2020 Cabernet Sauvignon is sleek, elegant and impeccably rendered. Naturally, the 2020 does not have the volume or resonance of the best years, mostly because it was made only from the earlier picks off the ranch, but it impresses with fine balance and terrific persistence. Soft and supple, with no hard tannins and tons of appeal, the 2020 is gorgeous. All of the signatures of the estate are present, the 2020 is just a quiet wine. Production is down by 65%, which means about 350 cases instead of 1,000 or so.
