1998 Paradigm Cabernet Sauvignon Oakville Estate

Deeper, more aromatic nose of cassis, violet, licorice, spice and mint, plus a floral nuance. Juicy but slightly green and austere, with a hint of shoe polish. Here, too, the tannins are a bit dry and cut off the fruit on the back end. Bits of merlot and cab franc will be blended into this wine prior to bottling.
