Good medium ruby. Medicinal black fruits, dark chocolate and licorice on the nose, complicated by a minty nuance and a suggestion of loamy warmth. A sweet, powerful, rather aggressive style of Cabernet with little in the way of restraint. Plush but a bit cloying and port-like, with distinctly warm flavors of oven-roasted dark berries. Finishes with big, chewy tannins and a repeating medicinal quality.
