Note di degustazione
The 2018 Chambolle-Musigny Les Fuées 1er Cru has a nicely-detailed bouquet with brambly red fruit, sous-bois and light truffle scents, opening nicely with aeration, though it reveals just a touch of brettanomyces. I appreciate the focus here, it improves further in the glass. The palate is medium-bodied with firm, slightly grainy tannins. Dark berry fruit, graphite and some wood tannins on the finish. It just needs another 12-18 months to meld together. Tasted blind at the Burgfest 2018 red tasting.

Aromas of raspberries, Indian spices, orange rind and rose petals preface Mugnier's 2018 Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru Les Fuées, a medium to full-bodied, layered and concentrated wine that's rich but vibrant, with powdery tannins, lively acids and a long, lusty finish. Like its communal counterpart, it has turned out very well.
The 2018 Chambolle-Musigny Les Fuées 1er Cru has a vivid bouquet of red cherries, cranberry and raspberry preserve enmeshed with crushed stone and light sous-bois scents, all very well defined. The palate is medium-bodied with a supple entry, offering crisp red berry fruit laced with white pepper and clove. This is so harmonious – not the most powerful Fuées I have encountered, but sleek and sensual.
