All Grenache from a great site in southern end of Ballard Canyon, the 2016 Grenache Lumiere offers a translucent ruby hue as well as a sweet bouquet of wild strawberries, kirsch liqueur, white flowers, toasted spices, and herbes de Provence. Classic Lato on the palate with its medium to full-bodied, seamless texture, it has a core of sweet fruit, ultra-fine tannins, and a great finish. It’s an ethereal, elegant yet also powerful style of Grenache to enjoy over the coming 7-8 years.
