Note di degustazione
The 2002 Chardonnay Three Sisters Vineyard Sea Ridge Meadow tastes like pure oil of lemon with a flinty, rocky component added for additional complexity. Broad, rich, full-bodied, heady, and alcoholic, with loads of concentration and hints of white peaches intermixed with brioche, this is an impressive Chardonnay to drink over the next 4-5 years. Tel. Explosive aromas of lemon, lime and minerals; less buttery and hazelnutty than most of the foregoing samples. Dense, rich and opulent; a lush wine that really blossoms in the mouth. Intriguing flavors of spice, vanilla cream and smoke complicated and lifted by citrus zest and crushed stone flavors. Uncompromisingly dry but also broad and consistent. Showing impressively today, but capable of evolving in bottle for at least a few years.
Informazioni sul produttore

Martinelli is a Sonoma benchmark for vineyard-designate bottlings—wines built to highlight how strongly a single site can shape Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Syrah, and Zinfandel. Across the range, the focus stays consistent: small-production bottlings that feel distinctly tied to where they’re grown.
