Note di degustazione
The 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon from Kobalt is a big, richly textured wine endowed with superb concentration and depth. Inky blue/purplish fruit, lavender, menthol and sweet spice abound in a flamboyantly ripe, exotic Cabernet that will drink well right out of the gate. Mark Herold has once again done a terrific job with this wine.

In the same mold as the 2014 only slightly deeper, more concentrated, and backward, the 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon offers loads of blue fruits, cedar, lead pencil, and scorched earth aromatics, full-bodied richness, and building tannin. As with a lot of 2015s, it’s going to benefit from short-term cellaring.
Deep garnet-purple colored, the 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon is profoundly scented of black cherries, warm blackberries, black plums and licorice with touches of cedar chest, Indian spices and dark chocolate. Medium to full-bodied, rich, opulent and full-on seductive with its plush tannins, layered ripe fruits and exotic spices, it finishes long and perfumed.
