2014 Wind Gap Pinot Noir Sun Chase Vineyard

The 2014 Pinot Noir Sun Chase Vineyard is one of the more overt wines in the Wind Gap lineup, largely because of this site is so exposed to the elements. Here the fruit is bold, forward and juicy, while the oak influence is a bit more pronounced. Sweet red cherry, plum and vanilla add to the wine's open-knit, inviting personality. The Sun Chase is quite racy, but there is no new oak here at all.
