2009 Capture Chardonnay Ma Vie Carol

Pale green-tinged yellow. Aromas of white peach, lime ice and spring flowers. Surprisingly dense and opulent on entry, then silky and dry in the middle, with a saline umami quality to the flavors of stone and citrus fruits, honeysuckle and vanillin oak. Not hugely fruity or gripping but nicely plump and classically dry. This round chardonnay melts on the palate and lingers nicely.
