These proprietary wines tend to be various blends of Bordeaux varietals, with the 2013 Proprietary Red Arise a blend of 55% Merlot, 30% Cabernet Sauvignon and the rest Cabernet Franc. The wine, which comes from multiple vineyards such as the Stagecoach and Crocker vineyards, offers up loads of earthy, dusty notes, a touch of herbaceousness, cocoa, black cherry and berry fruit, honeyed, lively fruit, decent acidity and a long finish. Drink it over the next 7-8 years.
