Castello di Amorosa's 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon is a terrific wine in its peer group. Supple, open-knit and inviting, the 2015 has quite a bit to offer, especially if enjoyed over the next handful of years. There is plenty of depth to the succulent cherry, plum, lavender and spice flavors. More importantly, the 2015 is impeccably balanced. Drink this lush, powerful Cabernet over the next handful of years, give or take.

Deep garnet-purple colored, the 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon contains 5% Petit Verdot and 2% Malbec and has a nose of blackberry, cassis, earth, menthol and pencil shavings. The full-bodied palate shows chunky but approachable tannins with good expression and balance, if a little straightforward.
