A Cabernet Franc-dominated blend that includes 33% Cabernet Sauvignon and 22% Petit Verdot, the 2018 Red Blend Labor Of Love has a ripe, sexy nose of black raspberries and cassis as well as plenty of spice, chocolate, and leafy herbs. Playing in the medium to full-bodied end of the spectrum, it has notable freshness and purity, solid balance, and a lengthy finish. Where some of the other wines in the lineup are more about power, this shines for its balance and elegance. Enjoy bottles over the coming 10-15 years.

The 2018 Labor of Love is a compelling Cabernet Franc-driven wine. Bright and punchy, with terrific energy, the 2018 has so much going on. Cedar, pipe tobacco, dried flowers and cinnamon add expressive layers of nuance to a core of red-toned fruit. The tannins are imposing at this stage, but there is so much to like about Labor of Love. It is one of the most distinctive wines in this lineup.
